When it’s too hot to turn the oven on, or you just want a super easy alternative to expensive pre-packaged energy bars, these are a great solution! Simple to make, full of protein, and the perfect pre or post workout snack!

You will need:

1 scoop ProMera Sports Whey Pro80 Protein Powder
1/2 cup nut butter (I prefer crunchy peanut butter for texture)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup honey
1 cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons each of your favorite seed mixin such as black chia seeds, hemp seeds or toasted flax seeds
Pre-biotic Fiber Yum Formula (in case you need a way to thin the mixture a bit without adding extra sugar)

Directions

1: Mix all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
2: Stir in 2 tablespoons each chia seeds/toasted flax seeds/hemp seeds
3: Add the nut butter and the honey
4: Mix everything together until it’s got a nice, smooth, yet thick, consistency
5: Using your hands, grab about tablespoon full at a time and roll into a ball, then place on a cooking sheet lined with tin foil
TIP: If the mix is too dry, add some of either the pre-biotic Fiber Yum, or a little more honey if you don’t mind the added sugar
6: Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, then enjoy! Great to take to the gym in a small container for a quick pre-or post-workout snack.

Serve & Enjoy!
